It never checks that the renewal's validAfter has been reached, that the current generation is exhausted or expired, or that the submitter is the owner or the session signer. The README describes pre-signed future renewals as an expected flow, so a signed generation-N+1 blob exists ahead of time; whoever holds it (the provider, a relay, a mempool observer) chooses when it lands. Submission overwrites sessions[id] (signer, spent, validAfter, validUntil, generation), so every payment signed for generation N reverts InvalidPayment from that moment, and while block.timestamp < validAfter no generation-N+1 payment is possible either. revokeSession is owner-only but this replacement path, which has the same effect on the live session, is open to any caller. Impact: denial of paid service for the window between early submission and the renewal's validAfter (bounded by the 30-day validUntil cap); no fund loss, and the owner can recover by signing a generation-N+2 session with an immediate validAfter. Fix: require block.timestamp >= s.validAfter in authorizeSession (or require the current generation to be spent-out/expired, or restrict submission of a renewal to the owner or the current session signer). The README and the existing test testAuthorityAndOwnerChangesInvalidateOldGrants present bumping the authority generation (for example setAuthority(false) then setAuthority(true)) as the way to invalidate outstanding publisher grants. That holds for grants signed for the old generation only. The executor README documents the equivalent property for Claus approvals ('predictable future-generation signatures may have been pre-signed'); the store and its operator documentation do not, and the store has no signer rotation equivalent, so the only remedy is cancelGrantNonce for every nonce ever signed. Authority generations advance deterministically (+1 per setAuthority / proposeProjectOwner / acceptProjectOwner), so a grant the owner signed for generation N+k is merely deferred, not dead. The documented operator model (contracts/README.md, 'Authority revocation suspends future upgrades'; test testAuthorityAndOwnerChangesInvalidateOldGrants) treats bumping the authority generation as the way to invalidate every outstanding publisher grant. That holds for grants signed for the OLD generation, but any grant the owner has already signed for a later generation (for example a renewal prepared ahead of time, or a grant for a publisher the owner has since decided to drop) becomes registrable by anyone holding the signature as soon as the owner's revoke (gen N+1) and re-enable (gen N+2) land, and the publisher can then write into the feed without any new owner action. The executor documents this exact property for Claus approvals ('predictable future-generation signatures may have been pre-signed') but the store and its docs do not, and the store has no equivalent of a signer rotation: the only remedy is cancelGrantNonce for every nonce ever signed. The two items I could reproduce are both in `ClausSignalStore` and concern how signed publisher grants interact with the owner's revocation tooling.\n\n- **Low: pre-signed future-generation grants survive a revoke/re-enable cycle.** `registerGrant` only requires the grant's authority generation to equal the current one. Generations advance by one per owner action, so a grant signed for generation 3 is rejected at generation 1, then accepted by anyone holding the signature once the owner disables and re-enables authority. The publisher can then write without new owner consent. The executor documents this property for Claus approvals, but the store and its runbook do not, and the only remedy is cancelling every signed nonce before re-enabling. Reproduced in `contracts/test/scratch/SignalGrantFutureGeneration.t.sol`.\n- **Info: registering an already-revoked grant burns the nonce and emits a live-looking event.** `revokeGrant` before registration is a documented path, but `registerGrant` never checks the revoked flag, so it stores the grant, consumes the nonce, and emits `PublisherGranted` after `GrantRevoked`. Publishing is still blocked, so the impact is on indexers and nonce hygiene only. Reproduced in `contracts/test/scratch/SignalGrantRevokedBeforeRegistration.t.sol`.\n\n**Verified properties** (traced through guards, and in most cases exercised by the existing 72 passing tests plus my scratch tests):\n\n- Approval executor: approvals are bound to chain, executor, target, from-version and from-codehash, policy, authority and signer generations; raising the delay, revoking authority, proposing an owner, or scheduling recovery each invalidates pending approvals; nonces cannot be replayed after execution or cancellation; the queue rejects empty execution windows; the retiring signer cannot cancel nonces during recovery.\n- Native vault: principal conservation holds on every path, withdrawals never depend on the policy, the policy response is parsed only when exactly 128 bytes, and reentrancy through the recipient is blocked.\n- Project wallet: nonce and quote replay are scoped per session id and persist across renewals, revocation retires an id permanently, state is written before value leaves, and payments cannot change asset, recipient, or exceed per-payment or total limits.\n- Request inbox and client: a callback delivers only the exact resolved bytes, a reverting callback can be retried but never re-runs the job, and the EIP-150 gas floor guarantees the requester receives its full callback gas.\n- Managed proposal: the registry lives outside proxy storage, first activation is bound to the registered code and init data, activation cannot happen in the creation block, and failed initialization rolls back the registry and nonce.\n\n**Assumptions I could not verify on-chain** and left as trust statements: the Claus signer, recovery owner, inbox dispatcher, and wallet owner are honest and use plain EOAs or deliberately reviewed ERC-1271 wallets; approved modules are plain bytecode rather than proxies or EIP-7702 delegations; the Sepolia deployments match the pinned sources, which I did not re-verify against the network.\n\n**Coverage.** I applied the Economic Security, Invariant and Flow Gap passes across all 13 production contracts and the three managed-proposal files, with the validation gates for every lead. I did not run Slither, fuzz campaigns beyond the repo's own, or any fork-based checks. The signal layer, however, requires the owner to be code-less: ClausSignalFactory.create reverts InvalidProject when owner.code.length != 0 (line 23), and ClausSignalStore.registerGrant reverts InvalidGrant on the same condition and verifies with ECDSA.recover only (ClausSignalStore.sol:99,103). A project registered or transferred to a contract wallet therefore can never create its one-per-project store or register any publisher grant; a store created earlier by an EOA owner becomes grant-frozen the moment ownership is accepted by a contract wallet (or the EOA adopts an EIP-7702 delegation, which gives it code). No contract or configuration file was touched.\n\n## Review outcome\n\nThe pinned Solidity tree under `contracts/src` (13 files, roughly 1,100 lines) has no critical, high or medium defect I could substantiate. The existing 72-test Foundry suite passes. I recorded three low and two informational findings in `.imd-findings.json`, each with a concrete failing input, and confirmed the three lows with a scratch test under `contracts/test/scratch/`.\n\n**Findings written**\n\n- **Low, ClausSignalFactory.sol:23 and ClausSignalStore.sol:99.** The executor admits ERC-1271 contract owners, but the signal layer rejects any owner with code. A contract-owned project can never create a store or register a grant, and an EOA owner who transfers to a contract wallet or takes an EIP-7702 delegation loses that ability permanently.\n- **Low, ClausNativeVault.sol:24.** The immutable admission policy is only checked for code. Deploying the vault against the bare `ClausVaultAdmission` module instead of a `ClausReadonlyProject` succeeds and then rejects every deposit forever. No funds are at risk, but the deployment cannot be repaired.\n- **Low, ClausSignalStore.sol:136.** The `tx.origin` and no-code rule in `publish` locks out a granted publisher that routes through any contract, and locks out an EOA that later installs an EIP-7702 delegation. The grant and its nonce stay consumed.\n- **Info, ClausApprovalExecutor.sol:132.** The lower-bound delay comparison is dead code with `MIN_UPGRADE_DELAY = 0`. Zero delay is documented policy, so this is a trust assumption, not a bypass.\n- **Info, ClausApprovalExecutor.sol:226.** The recovery owner can bump `clausGeneration` at any time, voiding every outstanding approval, and recovery completion is permissionless after the delay. Both are documented; listed so the trust-boundary inventory is complete.\n\n**Verified properties** (traced in source and exercised by the existing tests or my scratch test): every EIP-712 typehash matches its struct field order; registration, approval, session, payment and grant signatures are bound to chain and verifying contract; approval execution requires current policy, authority and Claus generations, pinned from-version and from-hash, exact new-code hash and configuration hash, a queue entry, and an unused per-project nonce; queue rejects empty windows; owner transfer and signer recovery pause upgrades immediately; the wallet scopes nonces and quote hashes per session and retires revoked IDs; the vault keeps principal conservation, CEI ordering and a reentrancy guard, and the policy can only gate new deposits; module evaluation runs under STATICCALL with bounded gas and bounded, header-validated return data; the inbox callback always receives its full gas limit and a reverting callback can be retried without re-resolving.\n\n**Assumptions I did not verify on chain**: the deployed Sepolia bytecode matches this source, the Claus signer and recovery owner are distinct keys held as described, and off-chain admission rejects proxy or delegated modules as the README states. Whoever holds a signed generation-N+1 blob (the provider, the network, or anyone who observed it in a mempool or relay) can submit it at any time before its deadline. Submission overwrites sessions[id] with the new generation and resets spent, so every payment signed for generation N fails with InvalidPayment from that moment, and if the renewal's validAfter is in the future no payment at all is possible until then. Asymmetry: revokeSession is owner-only, but this replacement path, which has the same effect on the live session, is open to any caller. Access × asymmetry seam: the owner's signature authorises the terms but not the moment they take effect, and a third party chooses that moment. The findings file is at the repository root and every path, line and snippet matches the tree. No code outside `test/scratch/` was changed.\n\n**Outcome.** No critical, high or medium defect was found in the thirteen live contracts under `contracts/src`. The permission model is consistent: every state writer is guarded by owner, Claus signer, recovery owner, dispatcher or executor checks, each signature domain is bound to chain and contract, nonces are namespaced per owner, project or session, and policy, authority and signer generations invalidate stale approvals and grants. The existing 72 Foundry tests pass. One low and six informational findings are recorded.\n\n**Low finding, with a failing Foundry proof.** In the project wallet, a pre-signed session renewal can be submitted by anyone the moment it is signed. Submission replaces the live session and resets its spend counter, so payments for the current generation fail immediately, and no payment at all is possible until the renewal's start time. Revocation is owner-only while this equivalent replacement path is open to any caller. The proof test in `contracts/test/scratch/WalletEarlyRenewal.t.sol` fails on current code with the expected error. The fix is to reject a renewal before its start time, or to limit who may submit one.\n\n**Informational findings.**\n- Grant re-registration in the signal store returns success without checking the supplied signature. No state changes.\n- Oversized input to a readonly project's evaluate reverts with the configuration error selector.\n- The recovery owner can invalidate every outstanding approval instantly, with no pending recovery. Documented, reported as a verified privileged power.\n- Signer recovery finalization is permissionless, so a late cancellation loses a same-block race. Documented.\n- The request client's recovery path trusts the previous client's self-reported controller and inbox. Only exploitable if the controller passes a foreign request id.\n- The zero minimum upgrade delay makes the registration floor check dead code. This is the owner's stated 12 October 2026 policy.\n\n**Verified properties.** Reentrancy guards hold on the wallet, vault and inbox callback. Vault withdrawals cannot be paused, taxed or redirected by any admission policy. Readonly modules run under STATICCALL with bounded gas and return data. The managed-contracts proposal was reviewed as well and no reachable defect was found, though it is not deployed.\n\n**Assumptions.** Signing keys are ordinary EOAs. The existing Foundry suites were run and pass.\n\n| Suite | Tests | Result |\n|---|---|---|\n| contracts/ | 72 | all pass |\n| proposals/managed-contracts/ | 19 | all pass |\n| scratch probes (mine) | 3 | all pass |\n\n**Verified properties, by test or by arithmetic walkthrough.**\n- Inbox callback gas margin. The check at `ClausRequestInbox.sol:95` leaves roughly 45k gas above the EIP-150 requirement after the pre-call storage write, so the callback always receives its full limit. My probe at the exact threshold observed 999,674 gas inside a 1,000,000-gas callback.\n- Readonly module output bounds. The size, offset and length arithmetic at `ClausReadonlyProject.sol:59` is consistent with the 8,256-byte cap and cannot overflow, since length is bounded before the rounding.\n- Vault admission decode. The manual 128-byte decode at `ClausNativeVault.sol:77` matches the canonical encoding of a 64-byte bytes result. The ceiling is inclusive and principal conservation holds through the real admission module.\n- Time windows. Every expiry, notBefore, validAfter, deadline and interval comparison in the executor, wallet, inbox and signal store uses consistent inclusive and exclusive edges, and every subtraction is guarded by a preceding ordering check.\n- Signal store tuple destructuring at `ClausSignalStore.sol:85` and the factory select the correct struct positions.\n- EIP-712 typehash field orders match the struct encodings in all four signing contracts.\n\n**Retained trust assumptions and documented limitations, not defects.**\n- A generation renewal resets a wallet session's spent allowance and can be submitted early by anyone holding the owner-signed authorization. Documented at docs/wallets.md line 13.\n- A revoked-before-registration grant still registers, consumes the nonce and emits PublisherGranted. Intended and tested.\n- Recovery finalization is permissionless, cancellation keeps trust in the same key, and the readonly module receives a fixed 200,000 gas. All documented in the contracts README and audit response.\n- The `MIN_UPGRADE_DELAY` comparison at `ClausApprovalExecutor.sol:132` is dead code since the constant is zero. No failing input exists, so it is not reported.\n\n**Limitations.** No fork, no mainnet state and no static analysers were used. ERC-1271 signer contracts, EIP-7702 delegated modules and fee-on-transfer tokens were assessed against the documented profile boundaries rather than exercised.
